General André-Lambert Nypels - Belgische Generaal André-Lambert Nypels.
Before becoming a Belgian Brigadier General (October 5th, 1830) in the
Dutch - Belgian war he was Colonel of the 3rd detachment of the Dutch
infantry. Probably living in Maastricht.
He took the descision to transfer the Belgian free corps into a regulated army.

Size ca 2 1/8 x 3 3/8 inches (photo) and 2 3/8 x 3 3/4 inches (mount).
Condition is very good with a tiny dog-ear at left upper corner.
Mount with little pin hole at the center of top and with right upper corner
medium bumped.
Original is a bit darker toned.
