Son of Joseph Thomas Clover (1825-1882) and Mary Ann Hall (1839-1929).
About 5-6 years of age. Same boy as in photo 18 and 19 of this album. Photo from around 1877 (same back and front as photo 17 which was dated 1877). Considering that Martin Clover was born in 1871, he was about 6 years of age around 1877.
Identification in pencil at reverse "Martin" which might indicate it is Martin but can also mean that the photo was reserved for him.
