The Taj Mahal Hotel and the Greens Hotel were situated at the left of the pavillion.
The roof of the Yacht club can be seen at right.

Doomed, white plastered structure specially designed by George Wittet for the Royal visit of King George V and Queen Mary. Wittet was architect to the Government of Bombay and the designer of the Gateway of India, constructed on the same spot.
