French marshal and second president of French republic.
Captured in the Crim war in 1855 the Malakoftoren near Sebastopol. In
the French-German war of 1859 he won the battle near Magenta.
Defeated in 1870 by the Germans and captured.
Cdv by Le Jeune. Ca 1861-62.
Size 2,5 x 4 1/8 inches.
Condition is good with minor shaving and edges with some discolouring.
Original is slightly darker toned.
