Patrice M. de Mac Mahon, Duke of Magenta (1808-1893)
French marshal and second president of French republic.
Captured in the Crim war in 1855 the Malakoftower near Sebastopol. In
the French-German war of 1859 he won the battle near Magenta.
Defeated in 1870 by the Germans and captured.
